What the hell is going on here? Is that really how those panels come together?

They look a little better on the X-Type, but not by much.

Yeah, they do fit onto it a little bit more. I can't say I'm a giant fan of them in general though.

It's like a MK4 GTI with Audi wheels.

It looks like two wheels that could look sort of okay on their own got smushed together into one.

Are you referring to where the fender and door meet at the base of the A pillar? My guess is they did that for aerodynamics.

Yes I was. I think part of it may just be the photograph, but it looks weird where it comes together because there's just that straight line terminating in the sharp corner. I'm sure it's not some terribly flawed design and doesn't look weird at all when the panels actually match, but when one is a different color like that it looks pretty bad.

Dude I saw a later SHO on the road today it was actually driving! Seeing that taurus reminded me. It was black and very clean. I hardly see SHOs of any type V8 or V6 I figure they are mostly in junkyards.

My picture isn't the greatest, to be honest ( this one is better). That meeting point is more curved than it initially appears, and is also hidden much better when the car is a single color.

Ahhhh ok that makes much more sense now. Because most of the panels were that darker color in your photo, it looked almost like the black part at the edges of the windshield was part of the pillar or hood or something, which made it look super strange.

I can't remember the last time I saw any of the SHOs. I know someone on here (TheVancen, I believe) has a early V6 SHO.

It's a start, but it needs more panels swapped.
